seriedad fallida con entusiasmo

Hola, thank you for your interest in my being-work. My name is Irene Trejo, alias Merma Suelo. I am a polyfaceted poet, researcher, performer and sound artist dancing and playing between layers to listen, understand, stretch and transform the living relational patterns-dynamics within ourselves and our environments with the intention of creating a more loving, just, and less oppressive reality. My practice centres in storytelling, on the hydrocommons, rawness and collective liberation; and is supported by life, body–territory and listening practices, divination, plants, politics and more. I am a very curious being who has been gifted with many lives in this body, yet is now humbly trying to focus and commit on the chosen for depth.

ECDISIS is a representation of how reality gets completely dismantled and transformed into another one. Old skins are not for us to forget unambiguously.

We will only find being (non)identity when we come out of selfishness.
